List Price $175The dual frequency Furuno 525T-BSD Bronze Thru-Hull Transducer is an Airmar B45 Housing Style transducer which has a double ended shape to deflect aerated water and provide clearer sonar signals for your fish finder / depth sounder readings. The thru-hull 600-watt (10-pin) marine transducer operates at dual frequencies of 50 and 200 kHz 600W (10-Pin) and has a temperature sensor.
Key Features of the Furuno 525T-BSD Bronze Stem Thru-Hull Transducer
50/200 kHz dual frequency sonar
45/15 degree sonar Beam Angles
Bronze thru-hull transducer with temperature
30 foot cable with 10-pin connector (included)
Small, low cost bronze housing
Double ended shape of housing deflects aerated water from the transducer providing clearer echoes
Optional low impact fairings vertically orient boat transducer sound beam
Optional streamlined fairings dramatically improve echosounding above 20 knots and greatly reduce drag
Shielded piezoceramic element for noise free echosounder display
Designed to meet CE requirements
Installation requires a small 22 mm (7⁄8") diameter hole
Standard cable length: 10 m (33')
? Accommodates hull thickness:
Min. no fairing: 6 mm (1⁄4"")
Max. no fairing: 92 mm (2 5⁄8"")
Max. with fairing: 50 mm (2"")
? Weight: 1 kg (2.2 lb)
Furuno 525T-BSD Transducer Applications:
? Standard fairing
? High speed fairing
? Waterproof molded connector Applications
? Planing and displacement hull powerboats
? Cruising sailboats
? For use on fiberglass or wood hulls only (Do not mount a bronze housing in a metal hull - electrolytic corrosion will occur.)

Mounting Your FishFinder Transducer:
Choose a location where:
? The water flowing across the hull is smoothest with a minimum of bubbles and turbulence (especially at high speeds).
? The thru-hull transducer will be continuously immersed in water.
? The beam of the marine transducer is unobstructed by the keel or propeller shaft(s).
? There is a minimum deadrise angle.
? There is adequate headroom inside the vessel for the height of the transducer housing and tightening the nut.
Acoustic noise is always present. These sound waves can interfere with the smooth operation of the transducer. You can't control background noise from waves, fish and other vessels, but carefully selecting the transducer mounting location can minimize the effect of vessel generated noise from the propeller(s) and shaft(s), other machinery, and other echosounders, resulting in clearer images on your fish finder / depth sounder display. The lower the noise level, the higher the echosounder gain setting that can be used.
